First of all, if you are new to my blog, I just want to say hello and welcome!
Glad we could meet in this small world of internet blogging. To be honest, I’m fuckin’ nervous just typing this because I don’t know what to say…(not to mention I’m just socially weird)
WAIT DON’T GO!!! I PROMISE I WON’T BORE YOU TO DEATH!
My name is Soo Cha, but I have an American name, Tabitha. And I don’t like that name because most people can’t pronounce it right.
I’d give all sorts of example, but it’d be too boring so let’s move on, shall we?
Ummm….let’s see now. I work at both a tutoring and senior center, and often times I work as an extra in short films or music videos (for fun). And I currently live in Los Angeles, the city with the WORST TRAFFIC EVER!
My passions include:
5. listening to music
7. surfing the Web
9. and so much more…
Let’s see…what else is interesting about me.
Well, I love to sing and dance…when I’m drunk or by myself. I get terrible stage fright so I don’t have much confidence performing in front of large crowds…except for that time that I danced in a music video and performed on World of Dance. Yep. I was literally performing in one of the biggest dancing competitions ever and never in a million years did I think I would ever accomplish that.
And also for the singing part, I ended up at a bar during a karaoke night (go figure) singing “Hotel California” in front of the not-so-many-crowds. That night was actually A LOT OF FUN even though deep down inside I felt totally embarrassed (I was sober that night).
What else…oooooo~I am into horror stuff. You name it. Horror movies. Horror novels. Even abandoned buildings that look hella dilapidated. Yeah, I’m a weird gal.
Okay. I think I’m done with my basic introduction so I’ll move on now…
So what is this blog about? Originally, I created this blog in hopes to inspire everyone to get out there and travel. Okay, I admit. I kinda switched it up and added some personal travel stories. I’m kinda experimenting with the blog here and I’m not perfect!
So this new year, I decided to add some random posts (I’ll discuss this later) and maybe some stories about myself. You know, like a get-to-know-me kinda thing.
Now that you know me personally, I figure I’d give you some updates on my blog:
- First of all, I completely changed the theme. Yeah, yeah. I guess you could say this old theme didn’t “speak” to me. Plus, I’m currently getting the hang of blogging, yet there’s still A LOT to learn! So give this lil’ nugget a break here!
- I want to include my personal approach to blogging. You can say it’s more of a diary, but there’s been so much on my mind that I want to share, even some sooooo personal it’s taken more than a year for me to actually confess. But you know what? I’d figure I get this off my chest, be honest with everyone, and SHARE with the internet world on how I’ve been doing. Besides it’s 2018: NEW YEAR, NEW ME!
- This year I’m trying to learn and figure out my niche. I know I want to inspire people to travel, but I haven’t really figured out my focus of direction. BTW, I don’t want to fall into this category of cliché travel blogger #1000000. So to change this whole perception, I’m going to throw in some inspirational stories, maybe even some poetry. Cuz you know…as a wise person once said,
“Don’t be afraid to change. It is leading you to a new beginning.”
And who knows? Someone out there might go through the same shit that I’m going through…just sayin’
- And last but not least, I will TRY MY BEST to get involved more with blogging. To do so, I’m in the process of creating a social media account for my blog. Yes, I’m a rookie in social media (don’t judge me), but I will also try my best to get EVERYONE or MOST PEOPLE INVOLVED! And I really have to get this off my chest because it’s been bugging me A LOT. To all my friends and family…if you REALLY and I mean REALLY support my blog, I suggest stop scrolling around whatever it is you’re doing and ACTUALLY take a few minutes to read, yes, read my post. To all the newcomers, I’ll stop hiding in my tiny, little corner and get my ass back to the internet world.
Anyways to the people reading this, I appreciate the time it took you to read this post. If you found this amusing or if this post “spoke” to you, I’d appreciate it even more if you share it with your family, friends, dog, cat, hippopotamus, llama, whatever, and subscribe to my blog.
